OTTAWA FASHION WEEK F/W 11
Emily Woudenberg & Anastasiya Kuyevda's collection was reminiscent of a desert that has been quenched! The color scheme of blues and neutrals alluded to the prominent elements of water & earth. A definite subdued yet immersed calmness in this collection; turbans and structures of a sultan’s closet created a wavy mood.
Click here for my coverage on Nu.I Fashion at Montreal Fashion Week! As for the Ottawa Fashion Week edition, I was excited to see that designer Vickie Joseph incorporated some new designs and revamped her styling! A collection of substance, that will be seen on Ottawa fashionistas! Think urban, glam, young, fresh & edgy.
The Adib Simon collection was a carnival of all ethnicities and contemporary influences; a fusion of indigenous, South Asian and Spanish hints. This collection brought foreign flare to the Nation’s Capital! Adib Simon demonstrated an upbeat, exotic and memorable show; I loved the grand finale of “La Matadora”.
